My first time there was for a lunch meeting... and the place was dead! The food really not exceptional, and the service... not very good either. (Good thing I had good company there that day!)
My second time there was for Sunday brunch. The food that time was actually very enjoyable. It was soooo crowded then too. The downside: TERRIBLE service! The waitress never checked on us and never got me the coffee I asked for... Prices a little expensive for what it is... Several other better brunch places in the Plateau worth a try instead of this one...
Franchement... Comment dire... La qualité des plats est absolument ordinaire sans imagination et ne justifie absolument pas les prix beaucoup trop élevé... La qualité du service est atroce. Bref point de vue rapport qualité/prix c'est complètement de l'arnaque.
service was okay, but food was terrible. I ordered the smoked salmon, with cream cheese. There was no capers, it was a panini sandwich, where I could barely taste the salmon. When I opened it, there was a tiny strip of brown "bacon-like" salmon. Aweful. The place is nice, but has no content at all. Avoid.
This is more of a scenester place to see and be seen, rather to enjoy nice food and service. The club sandwich was OK but the wait staff was disinterested at best. My waitress was more content to gossip and smoke than to speak to any customers. With the exception of when my food came, I had to go up to the counter to get/ask for everything. If you're just going for a coffee you'll probably be happier just going to the Second Cup across the street.
