Smoke meat great as always - Go for take out only - not for the kids We decided to go to Smoke Meat Pete over the weekend with our kids (6 & 9) for lunch. I usually pick up my smoke meat orders over the counter at this place, but this was the first time that we have sat down in this restaurant. (and the last with kids) Altough perfectly bilingual, the lady at the cash refused to serve us in french, which I find odd as the place is located in île Perrot... The ambiance for lunch time was raunchy, the place was dirty and the music was too loud. This restaurant has seen better days. The kids wanted hot dogs, which they got served in a cold rye bread?!! But, I must say that the smoke meat special was great as always! A little cleanup & refresher of this restaurant would be called for. Finally, this place is overly priced for the portions they give you (38$ for two (2) hots dogs platter for kids + 2 smoke meat specials!!)
