When and where: 2005-03-08 - Confiserie Bromont (La)

Good food, but seating is a little cramped. Still, manages to be cozy rather than uncomfortable. AMAZING complementary foccacia bread, one of the biggest perks of eating there. Overall, good place to go for a nice, laid-back dinner.

One of my favourite places to eat in Montreal. Great food, ambience, and service. The BYOW + affordable menu is a wonderful formula. Their pesto mussels are delicious, and you leave truly full.

Good, tasty food, although the portions are a little small. Still, the prices are extremely affordable (my meal only came out to $12 including taxes and a glass of wine!)

Decent food, but servings don't seem as large as those at Soups and Noodles (yet are priced similarily, and are at the same level of quality). Still, not bad.

OK, but nothing truly spectacular. Decent value for price, and food has good flavours. Affordable, and good for a quick lunch (although be careful, because the smell of the food really lingers on your clothes after you've left the restaurant)

When and where: 2005-03-08 - Peddlers

Absolutely delicious food, although the prices are a little high considering the small-ish portions. Still, the quality makes up for it. I'm a truly ardent meat-lover, yet this restaurant makes vegetarianism more than palatable to me ;) Main dishes run at about $14-16, if I remember correctly...

Great food, relaxed + laid-back atmosphere! Best if you're willing to spend about $30-40 for the menu de dégustation, worth the experience. Delicious cuisine combinations.
